Keratin Bond hair extensions are still one of our most popular and well-priced hair extension application methods. They are also known as Hot Fusion, Nail Hair Extensions, extensions with wax, Keratin Strands and U-tip Extensions.

This type of hair extension method has small bonds that are attached to the hair strands are made from a durable 100% Italian Polymer keratin. Keratin is the natural protein found in human hair.

A heat iron is then used to soften the keratin bond that is gently molded to your natural hair. The nail shaped strand is attached to a thin strand of you own hair by rolling the soften bond in your fingers and left to harden. As the bonds come in the same shade as your hair extensions, they are undetectable and non-damaging to your natural strands.

The hair used in our keratin bond hair extensions is made with the finest selection of quality AAAAA Grade European Remy Hair, yet they are still one of the most affordable types of extensions on the market. The entire range is carefully batch selected double drawn, ensuring a consistent thickness from root to tip.

How many keratin bond strands do I need for hair extensions?

50 strands= 2 Packs (50grams)- Adds a little more volume. Suitable if your hair has length already. Or can used to fill out shorter layers around the face. Not sufficient for a full head of hair
100 Strands=4 Packs (100grams) –This is ideal for hair that is naturally thin or fine. Enough for a standard full head.This is the minimum quantity recommended for most & great just to add length.
150 Strands = 6 Packs (150grams)-Medium/Thick Full Head. Ideal if the natural hair is short or thick. Recommended for those seeking both luscious length and volume. This is the most popular quantity that gives optimal results
200 Strands 8 Packs (200grams)- A super thick Head of Hair. Used only when the natural hair is very short and thick. To create the ultimate thickest most voluminous look, 80 pieces will achieve that result.

Exchanges & Returns

In the very unlikely event goods are faulty or you simply change your mind, we offer a 100% money back guarantee. –

We are happy to exchange or refund your purchase, whatever you choose.

4.1. At Rapunzel, we understand it can sometimes be tricky choosing the perfect set online and we never want our customers to be disappointed. We offer a full 14 Day money back guarantee. Simply send the product back in original condition, within 14 Days and we’ll credit your Credit Card/ PayPal account or bank account the total amount of your order, minus our shipping costs and minus AUD$20 handling fee for returns.

Due to hygiene reasons we only offer refunds/exchanges on hair products that have not been opened, worn or tampered with. To qualify for a refund the set must be returned in unused condition. The Silver Rapunzel seal around the top of the wefts cannot be broken to ensure your return/exchange is not void.

All packaging and free gifts must be returned to receive full money back. If gifts are not returned the retail cost of the gift will be charged. You may keep hold of your gift if you are exchanging.

4.2. Where the customer wishes to exchange a product for whatever reason, for example, incorrect size or colour, and the item is not used, Rapunzel for Hair will exchange the goods as requested, however the customer will bear all additional postage costs. Returned products for exchange must be received back at Rapunzel for Hair (PO Box 226 Karrinyup WA 6921) within of the initial purchase.

4.3. If there are any faults with the product, Rapunzel Hair Extensions will replace the faulty product once the original product is returned. A refund in this case will only be eligible if a replacement product is un-available or if the returned product was not opened.

4.4. Any exchange made may only be made once. Further exchanges will be subject to a service fee of A$20.

We can take no responsibility for items lost or damaged in transit and recommend tracking & you may consider insuring the return shipment.

Australian domestic customers, will be refunded the total product amount minus the shipping incurred and a AUD20 handling fee.

Overseas customers will be refunded the full order amount minus the shipping costs & a AUD$20 handling fee.
