It’s that time of the year again – the annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is back, and this year if you can believe it, it was bigger and better than ever.

A bold and impressive statement considering how epic last year’s was.

If you weren’t lucky enough to get a front row seat to watch the likes of Gigi and Bella Hadid, Jasmine Tookes, Karlie Kloss, Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Lily Aldridge , Kendall Jenner and a secretly pregnant Irina Shayk strut their stuff on the catwalk in Paris, then here’s everything that went down.

The Angels debuted a total of 68 runway looks in the following categories: Road Ahead, Mountain Romance, Pink Nation, Secret Angel, Dark Angel and Bright Night Angel.

This year, Jasmine Tookes got the honour of modelling the Fantasy Bra, which was a $3 million emerald and diamond encrusted masterpiece designed by Eddie Borgo and handcrafted by AW Mouzannar.

Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars and Bella Hadid’s ex The Weekend (that wasn’t awkward at all…) treated everyone to some stunning musical performances.

But Lady Gaga went one step further, and gave every single Angel a rose as they walked off the catwalk; how cute is that?

If she was trying her hardest to be invited back next year, we think that’s a good way to go about it!

The show was absolutely spectacular – so much so that no one noticed or even cared about Gigi Hadid’s wardrobe malfunction. (One of the straps of her outfit broke off, but she handled it like a true pro.)

We doubt many people were looking at the outfit anyway, as Gigi’s flawless face and enviable hair were unsurprisingly the centre of attention.

If you also want to get away with wardrobe malfunctions and pretty much anything else along the way, then getting that essential Victoria’s Secret Angel mane is absolutely mandatory.

Luckily it isn’t actually that hard to recreate (this doesn’t go for a VS Angel body, we’re sad to report) and can easily be achieved with a medium sized curling wand and a good, thick, luxurious set of human hair extensions.

Section your hair accordingly, and tease the roots before attaching each weft of hair extensions.

Hairspray on the roots is also a good idea, as it will stop the extensions from slipping if you excitedly toss your head back and forth. Once all your extensions are safely and discreetly put into your hair, section the hair in 1-2 cm strands and start curling.

Position the wand in an upright position and curl away from your face.

When all the curls are cool, simply run your fingers through them with a little hair serum and say hello to Victoria’s Secret Angel waves.
